Out of town and our kid got an ear infection. They took such good care of us and had a pharmacy right on site so that made it very convenient. Staff was extremely friendly and the place was spotless! I have never seen such a clean hospital.

Dr. P. Phillips Hospital is in my opinion the best Hospital ever. The entire Orlando Health system is amazing to be honest. During a 4 day stay I saw many doctors and nurses, all of whom were very professional and extremely kind. You definitely get the sense they truly care about you and are trying to get you better. They take the time to explain everything to you and also take the time to address all of your questions and concerns. When I was discharged, I was explained everything and also had follow-up appointments already scheduled for dates and times that are helpful to me. My hope is to not need any more hospital stays in the future, but if I do, I will travel out of my way to be treated here.

I can honestly say this was one of the best hospital experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was kind, professional, and caring. The nurses and doctors were absolutely amazing and made me feel comfortable, supported, and well taken care of throughout my surgery experience. Everything was explained to me clearly and in detail, which helped ease so much anxiety and made me feel confident I was in good hands. The hospital was also extremely clean and well organized, and you could truly tell that everyone cares about their patients. Even though I was there for surgery, they somehow managed to make it a positive and comforting experience. I have absolutely no complaints and I’m beyond grateful for the level of care I received. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond!

Everyone at Orlando Health Dr. Philips Hospital was great. The staff, doctors, and nurses were amazing and very professional. The doctors and nurses kept me well informed as to what was happening with me. I especially want to mention Nurse Lauren by name. She is the short, blonde nurse that came into my room to check my lower legs for swelling. She is also the nurse that removed my IV when it was time for me to go home. I hope Nurse Lauren reads this. Nurse Lauren you're so awesome! You are so professional, kind, sweet, and very cute 😍. I wish we could have spent more time together, but it was time for me to leave. I really wanted to go home and get back to my own bed and shower. I would love to get to know you outside of your work. Maybe we'll meet again under different circumstances. Take care Nurse Lauren and I wish you all the best in your career.

I am grateful for the treatment I received while at the hospital. The nurses and staff was very kind and attentive. My doctors were all excellent. Dr. Duggin was the doctor who did the surgery. He took his time to explain the surgical procedure. The Infectionist Disease doctors came daily and adjusted medicine when necessary. I am grateful for everyone. Thank you.

I went to DPH on Jan 2nd of this year and I was just discharged yesterday on Jan 16th. Please follow along as I feel there is importantly information along my journey. On New Years Day, I fell at home in my tub and lost consciousness. My husband found me when he got home so we don’t have any idea how long I was out for. He woke me up and we had prior commitments with our families that I refused to go to the hospital right then and there. I did feel off and vomited but as long as I felt ok, I could just keep it moving. On Friday, I even went to work but made it a priority to call my neurologist and let them know what had happened (I have MS). I get a phone call from my neuro to RUSH to my nearest ER especially since I now had immense pain in my back and raging headache. I clocked out and went straight to DPH. Arrived at their ED and they brought me to the back immediately. It’s always a risk going to the ED because they can either listen and truly condemning to your care OR they can very much “treat and street” you. I advocated for myself because they wanted to send me home without having an MRI done and they ended up admitting me to the B towers for “intractable back pain.” Entirely way too much happened to me during my stay here that could’ve been avoided had nurses and Dr’s just took the time to listen. I’ve never had to fight so hard in my life to advocate for myself and beg for care to be given. Again, so MUCH went wrong (lack of care, confidentiality, etc) but there were honestly some true and genuine staff that went above and beyond and had they not been there, this could have gone a completely other way. The first person who seemed to truly hear me and care was Mesha A towers, 5th floor surgical. Mid way through her shift she realized I was in such excruciating pain that she came in and started notating in full detail what my complaints were and what could possibly help and how she could help. It came a little too late but still it felt like maybe this is wha

I had a great experience at Orlando Health. My appointment started right on time, which I really appreciated. During my procedure, there was a moment where things were a bit difficult to see, but the sonographer quickly called in a phlebotomist/ nurse named George, who was absolutely wonderful. He made the process smooth and completely stress-free. Everything went well overall, and I was especially impressed that my results were read and uploaded to MyChart within about 20 minutes after my appointment ended. That level of efficiency and care really stood out to me. Highly recommend Orlando Health for their professionalism, teamwork, dedication and prompt service.
